This set is so hard for me to see clearly but here is it. I purchased this set from the company Yonder Star. They have a great selection of nativities for very reasonable prices. I did not have a set from Australia and really wanted one after the kangaroo experience, so I got this one. It was advertised as being from Australia, but when I got it, the people have very Asian faces, and so I have had a really hard time feeling good about attributing it to Australia. The following description is from Yonder Star: 

"Exquisitely detailed hand-carved wooden Nativity scene is made from environmentally sound, fast growing suarwood. Wood figures are lightly varnished and measure 6 inches tall. $154.99 

Suarwood is a hard wood often used for carving and is found in Australia. The trees the wood comes from are also know as, Saman, Monkey Pod, Mango and Acacia.
