The story of the Nativity book features wood engravings Catholic version. There are more than 27 superb full-page black and white woodcuts by Boyd Hanna. Boyd Everett Hanna was born in Irwin, Pennsylvania in 1907. Hanna was a prolific artist of wood carving prints. This little book was published by Francis Cardinal Spellman, Archbishop of New York (date unknown). The text and story of the nativity in this book is taken from the first and second chapter of St. Matthew, The Douay Catholic version. It is the sweetest book. The detail of the prints are incredible. The book measures only 4" x 6". It has an original price marked at $1.00 on the dust jacket.
