I really enjoy this Nativity and don't even have to look at it. It has the arroma of honey whenever I get near. It is very beautiful but you really have to study it to get the full impact. This description is from the seller.

My castings are made from reproductions of the springerle and spice cookie molds carved as long ago as 1500. These cookies were sold at fairs and bakeries. What a competition for the best cookies there must have been when you see how beautiful and original these castings are!
