One year at the International Nativity Display at the Mesa Temple Visitors' Center, I wanted to make a point of featuring sets that were made by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I found this nativity, and it being from Idaho, I thought maybe the artist could be a member of the church. I contacted them and told them about myself and about my collection. I then asked them if they were a member of the church and they said yes they were, but that they had not been active for many years. I asked if I could confidently say that the set was made by a member of the church, to which they replied "Yes."
