Goose egg from Ukraine. Goose eggs are larger than chicken eggs. The shell is a little thicker, and very small details can be etched into the surface. The egg is first blown out, then the shell is dyed with vegetable dye. Small areas of the shell that were previously drilled out to evacuate the egg are now shaped into areas of the lacy pattern.
